Has it been a while since you have been scuba diving? Do you feel like your scuba skills and knowledge are a bit rusty? The Scuba refresher is just what you need. It reacquaints you with diving so that you're back to feeling comfortable in the underwater world in a couple of hours.
It doesn’t matter who you trained with or what agency your certification is from. As long as you are qualified to dive, we can refresh your skills.

What will I do?
You will brush up on your scuba knowledge and skills, improve your diving ability and get your scuba gear ready for your next diving holiday. You go over the knowledge you learned during your initial training and then practice the fundamental skills in the pool. Completing your Scuba Refresher at Aquasport is a great way to refresh your knowledge and skills in a safe environment.
Time
How long will it take?
You can take as little or as long as you like. You could complete your refresher within two and a half hours if your skills are not too rusty! But if it’s been a while it may be best to allow a little extra to give you more time to practice.
With all the training facilities in one place we can offer you a package unmatched by anyone. If you think the Scuba Refresher might not be for you there are other options available which allows more scope for knowledge and skills review. When you complete your refresher is up to you. Aquasport can offer flexible pool times so we go along at your pace, not ours.
Requirements
What will I need?
Just your certification card to get going! If you hold a PADI certification don’t worry if you don’t have it available we can easily check your details online. You will also need to fill out a self certification medical statement. If you have any medical conditions you think may prevent you from completing your refresher please feel free to contact us and we will try to be of assistance.
Everything you need to complete the programme including all the scuba equipment needed is included in the cost. However if you own your equipment and it is within its service period please feel free to bring it along to use.
Prices
Each Scuba Refresher is priced individually depending on the schedule and numbers participating. The minimum cost of £25 is based on two divers sharing a midweek session. Individual evening programmes start from £35. Call for further details.
Full payment is required when you book your Scuba Refresher with Aquasport.

Once you have refreshed your skills you can enrol onto any one of our continuing education programmes, hire scuba equipment from our rental store, or maybe come along on a club evening and dive with one of our staff members to reacquaint you with open water diving. As with all our club dives we take everything at an easy pace and just enjoy ourselves.
