Gaining your PADI Rescue Diver certification with Aquasport International can take as little as three days and is a requirement for anyone planning to become a Divemaster and follow the professional career path. All Rescue Divers are required to hold a current relevant first aid certificate. We recommend the Emergency First Response course, and can combine these two courses for your convenience.

You’ll learn how to deal with diving emergencies, search for missing divers and, more importantly, how to anticipate and prevent accidents in the first place.

With Aquasport, the PADI Rescue Diver course can be completed in only 3 days! YES 3 DAYS! Meaning you can be ready to act in that unexpected dive situation and potentially save a life! Is there a reason good enough not to become a rescue diver?

The PADI Rescue Diver course with Emergency First Response training not only sets you in good stead to act in a dive emergency but the additional EFR training will mean you are First Aid and Secondary Care trained so you are the perfect dive buddy in an emergency!

The PADI Rescue Diver Gold includes the EFR and also the Care for Children and Emergency Oxygen Provider Programmes, making you truly prepared for any emergency situation, in water or out.

Emergency First Response training gives you the confidence to care. This one day first aid and CPR training programme has no pre-requisites or minimum age requirements and is open to anyone who sees the need to learn these important skills. So whether you are training to become a scuba instructor, or just work with others and feel you would like to learn first aid ‘just in case’, then the EFR course is the one for you.
