PADI Open Water Referral
If time has deserted you and you are off on your holidays in a few days' time, or you just don’t fancy UK diving (you don’t know what you’re missing), then the PADI Open Water Diver referral may just be the answer you were looking for.
Complete the first part of your training, the theory and pool sessions here with us at Aquasport. You can then complete the open water training dives at a PADI Centre local to where you are staying on holiday. If you want to learn while you are away it saves two days of your holiday and you can get stuck into the open water dives as soon as you arrive.
Please feel free to email us at email@example.com for more specific information regarding the best training option for you.
What will I do?
We take each of the five modules from the PADI Open Water Diver manual and cover each section, followed by the related skills in the pool session. First your instructor will teach you the basics. Taking your first scuba sessions in our heated pool, you will learn the practical skills needed to allow you to dive safely. The theory is completed in our comfortable multimedia classrooms.
Once your skills and knowledge are up to scratch we will give you a log book documenting all the training you have completed with us. All you do is show this to your instructor at the centre of your choice at your holiday destination and they will complete your training from where you left off. We may also be able to help you locate a dive centre at or close by your resort.
All the PADI materials and scuba equipment needed to complete the referral programme are included in the cost.
How long will it take?
One weekend (Fastrack Referral Programme) or five Wednesday evenings (Midweek Referral Programme).
You can also do an Executive Referral where you can choose your own schedule. You can even complete the theory at home if you wish and then organise two afternoons or one day in the pool with your instructor.
With all the training facilities in one place we can offer you a training package unmatched by anyone. Options are available including Fastrack weekend and intensive packages so if you are in a hurry to complete your training before your holiday we will have the answer. How you complete your training is up to you. Aquasport can offer unlimited pool training so we go along at your pace, not ours.
You can upgrade your training to complete the whole programme with us anytime during your schedule. You just pay the balance of the programme you wish to complete.
What will I need?
Just your manual to get going! A £99 deposit is required to book your Open Water referral training and you will receive your PADI Open Water Diver Manual to start you on your way. You will also need to fill out a self certification medical statement. You will need to be able to swim 200m in your own time and in any style and perform a safety float (tread water) for ten minutes.
Everything you need to complete the programme is included. We recommend that you buy your own mask and snorkel but we also have plenty in the school for you to borrow if needed.
